Ferrari Luce EV could get coach-style doors based on spy pictures
It was back in October 2025 when our spies managed to take photos of Ferrari's first-ever EV. But to throw off our spies, Ferrari decided to use a Maserati Levante and fitted it with Purosangue parts and false body panels. The result is a Frankenstein-like vehicle that looks odd in every direction.

Fast forward to February 2026, and our spies were able to take new photos of the Ferrari Luce EV just after the automaker revealed its interior. Just like the previous sighting, Ferrari is not yet ready to reveal its design. However, our spies managed to spot a peculiar feature.

Based on what our spies took, the Ferrari Luce EV could come with what looks to be rear-hinged doors. That means the Luce will likely be equipped with coach doors (AKA suicide doors). We're curious what the appearance of the doors will be once Ferrari takes off the false body panels and camouflage livery.
The rest of the vehicle is still a mystery due to the body panels and Purosangue parts. However, it looks like we can expect the Luce to come with a pair of eye-catching LED headlights, along with what appears to be a sleek set of LED taillights.

As mentioned by Ferrari last year, the Ferrari Luce will be powered by a 122 kWh battery pack that sends power to four electric motors (quad motor setup). It will have a total system output of over 1,000 PS and will allow the Luce EV to sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
It will also have a 350kW fast charging capability, which will give the Luce the ability to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes. On a full charge, the Luce EV is expected to travel up to 530 km.

Ferrari plans to reveal the Luce EV in all its glory in May 2026.
