All-new BMW X5 with Neue Klasse look could get electrified M60 variant
We've already spotted the next-generation BMW X5 on two separate occasions after our spies managed to take pictures of a prototype. The earliest sighting gave us a glimpse of the X5's Neue Klasse look, while the most recent sighting was seen wearing production lights, which further gave us a better look at the new-generation crossover SUV.

Now, our spies were able to take pictures of another X5 prototype, only this time it could be the all-new M60 variant. However, the all-new X5 M60 could be offered as a powerful plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Based on rumors, the next-generation X5 M60 might drop the V8 in favor of an electrified turbo inline-six that may generate over 550 PS.
In comparison, the current G05 X5 M60i is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 that cranks out 530 PS and 750 Nm of torque. Should the next-generation M60i version of the X5 come with a PHEV powertrain, then we won't be surprised if it makes nearly 600 PS and 800 Nm of torque.

Despite still looking a lot like the prototype we saw with production lights, the upcoming BMW X5 with Neue Klasse look could become the most handsome-looking generation of the crossover SUV yet.

Hopefully, BMW launches the all-new vehicle very soon, including the refreshed 5 Series that may also get the Neue Klasse redesign.
