Xpander led Mitsubishi PH's 86,808 vehicle sales in 2025
Here are Mitsubishi's top-selling models in PH in 2025
Yesterday, AutoIndustriya.com revealed the top 10 selling models in the Philippines. For the first time in a long while, the Toyota Vios was unseated as the leading model in the country after the Mitsubishi Xpander overtook it with 28,081 units sold (Xpander total sales include MY2025 and MY2026).
They may not be the no.1 automaker in the country, but Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) still delivered impressive numbers as the second leading automaker in the country with 86,808 units sold in 2025.
As mentioned earlier, the Xpander led the charge in 2025 after Mitsubishi was able to deliver 28,081 Xpander units to customers. In comparison, MMPC sold 26,242 Xpanders in 2024 and was the second most popular Mitsubishi in that year.
Sitting in second place was 2024's best-seller, the Mirage G4. 17,757 customers chose to get a brand new Mirage G4 in 2025. This is a stark difference compared to 2024, wherein the automaker sold 26,313 examples of the humble sedan. In third place is the evergreen L300, which saw 14,938 units leave dealership lots and is slightly higher than 2024's figures (13,939 examples).
Still a contender in the midsize SUV market is none other than the Montero Sport. The automaker was able to shift 10,886 examples of the SUV, which is slightly higher compared to 2024 sales. Up next is the Triton pickup, which found 9,170 new homes and is a thousand more than what they sold in 2024. The XForce also saw an increase in sales after MMPC sold 3,895 units in 2025, which is better than 2024's sales figure of 1,821 units.
The newly-launched Destinator may be a newcomer, but 1,352 customers chose the brand's latest turbocharged 7-seater crossover SUV as their latest vehicle. After that comes the Mirage Hatchback, which may not be as popular as the G4, but 699 customers still chose the five-door version. Last but not least is the Strada, which has already been discontinued but still found 30 new customers in 2025.
MMPC is still the second leading automaker in the country despite experiencing slightly lower sales in 2025. But with electrified vehicles becoming more popular, we're curious if Mitsubishi plans to launch its own line of hybrids or plug-in hybrids in 2026.
