Nissan PH reveals teaser of upcoming vehicles for 2024 Philippine International Motor Show
Earlier this week, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) gave us a glimpse of what to expect at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Set to take place at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from Oct 24 – 27, it looks like TMP is set to reveal a plethora of cars which may include the likes of the GR Yaris 8-speed A/T, the all-new Camry HEV, the next-generation Prius HEV, and perhaps the new DNGA-based Vios.
Not to be outdone by Toyota, Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) has also released a teaser video ahead of the biennial motor show. Based on the short video Nissan released recently, it seems the automaker will unveil four cars. No exact details were revealed by the company apart from the fact that they will be present at PIMS 2024.

With Nissan having something special in store next month, we here at AutoIndustriya.com cannot help but speculate as to what the automaker plans to reveal at PIMS 2024. With a month to go before the motor show opens to the public, we're here to share what possible models Nissan may reveal.
Take note: Our speculations are based on publicly available information we have gathered so far, insider scoops from our anonymous sources, as well as intelligent guesses.
X-Trail e-Power
In January 2024, Nissan Philippines received regulatory approval for a passenger vehicle that comes with a gasoline-powered engine along with an electric motor that produces 150 kW (or 203 PS). After doing some research, it seems Nissan is looking to bring back the X-Trail, only this time with e-Power.

Already available in markets like Japan, the US, and China, the X-Trail e-Power is available with a 1.5L three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine that makes over 200 PS PS and 305 Nm of torque. However, it's only there to charge the battery which powers an electric motor that drives the front wheels. The motor itself puts out 203 PS along with 320 Nm of torque which is more than enough to propel the X-Trail e-Power.
Based on insider information, Nissan Thailand plans to launch the all-new X-Trail which could soon be followed by the Serena MPV and all-electric Ariya SUV. Should Nissan Philippines source the X-Trail e-Power from The Land of Smiles like the Kicks e-Power, the automaker could make the compact crossover competitively priced.
Z NISMO
It's been exactly one year since Nissan Philippines Inc. launched the all-new Z. With a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 pushing 383 PS and 475 Nm of torque, the two-door sports car is all about delivering excitement behind the wheel. But why stop there?

Another possible vehicle the automaker could bring to PIMS 2024 is the all-new Z NISMO. Featuring a more powerful twin-turbo V6 along with plenty of upgrades, the NISMO-tuned coupe is just raring to go to the track. The V6 now makes 420 PS with 520 Nm of torque and is paired with a NISMO-tuned 9-speed automatic gearbox. Sorry manual fans, the Z NISMO is exclusively available with an automatic gearbox.
Aside from that, the Z NISMO also gets a specially-tuned suspension with NISMO front & rear chassis bracing, uprated disc brakes, and plenty more NISMO goodies. Should the Z NISMO make an appearance at this year's PIMS, it will surely generate plenty of buzz for enthusiasts and Z fans alike.
Kicks e-Power Autech
The Kicks e-Power has been with us for quite some time and is due to get some updates or a refresh. Yes, there's already an all-new Kicks in the US market but it might take a while for the new-generation crossover to make its way here.

Over in Thailand, however, Nissan has introduced the Kicks e-Power Autech, a dressed-up version of the electrified crossover that gets exterior and interior goodies. It gets unique 17-inch alloy wheels, front & rear under protectors, new LED foglights, metallic silver side skirts, and Autech badges on the tailgate and grille. The interior also gets distinct changes like a blue-black two-tone leather upholstery and Autech badging on the center console.
Everything remains under the hood as it still comes with a 1.2L three-cylinder engine that serves as the generator for the e-Power system. It has a 2.13 kWh battery pack that powers a front electric motor that makes 136 PS along with 280 Nm of torque.
Could the Kicks e-Power Autech make sense in the country should Nissan reveal it at PIMS 2024?
All-new Patrol or facelifted Terra?
Yes, the Y63 Nissan Patrol just made its global debut in Abu Dhabi and boy did it impress. We won't be surprised if there is already a long line of customers in The Middle East who want to get one as soon as possible.

But based on the teaser the automaker revealed, it looks like they will preview the next-generation Patrol at PIMS 2024. Given the mystery vehicle's huge size, we won't be surprised if Nissan will actually showcase the Y63 Patrol next month at the World Trade Center.
On the other hand, Nissan could also bring yet another updated version (or special edition) of the Terra midsize SUV. While the pickup-based 7-seater SUV is reportedly set for the chopping block in 2027, perhaps Nissan will still give the Terra some minor updates here and there before its supposed discontinuation.

Do you think Nissan will preview the all-new Patrol or could the automaker bring a refreshed version of the Terra at PIMS 2024?
