VinFast is inching closer to launch Limo Green after LTO approval

Yesterday, VinFast Philippines announced it plans to launch new vehicles, expand its dealership network, and install more charging stations across the country. One of the vehicles the company plans to launch in the country is an MPV, which led us to believe that the VinFast Limo Green will possibly arrive in the country.

Well, as luck would have it, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) recently released a new Memorandum Circular, which somewhat confirms VinFast's plans in the country. The agency has cleared the VinFast Limo Green for the Philippines, and we have the initial specifications.

The Limo Green will be powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, although no capacity was mentioned. It will have a maximum range of 300 km, which is down from the 450 km range that's offered in other markets. It will also have a single electric motor that puts out 150 kW or 204 PS and has a top speed of 140 km/h.

Recharging the Limo Green can be done in two ways: AC charging, which can take up to 8 hours, and fast DC charging, which can recharge the battery from 10% to 70% in 27 minutes. In terms of size, the Limo Green measures 4740mm long, 2123mm wide (including side mirrors), and 1723mm tall. It also has 170mm of ground clearance and a 2840mm wheelbase. Last but not least, the VinFast Limo Green has been listed as a 7-seater vehicle.

With the LTO already clearing the VinFast Limo Green, it might not be long before the automaker launches the all-electric MPV.
