Jetour G700 flagship plug-in hybrid SUV spotted ahead of MIAS 2026

Jetour's newest flagship plug-in hybrid (PHEV) has just been spotted in the country, and it could be launched as early as next week. After being confirmed for the Philippine market last year and appearing on the Department of Energy's (DOE) list of recognized PHEVs, the Jetour G700 is getting ready for its Philippine debut.

Based on what our spies were able to capture, the upcoming G700 will get the same boxy look as the ones sold in the People's Republic. Despite the cover hiding most of the vehicle, the Jetour G700 will come with what looks to be massive 20-inch alloy wheels, muscular fenders, and sleek LED headlights & taillights. Like 4x4s of yesteryear, the G700 will also have a rear spare tire carrier.

Based on an approved regulatory approval, the G700 for the Philippine market will likely have a 1997cc (or 2.0L) turbocharged engine. Meanwhile, the DOE has listed the G700 as a 2026 model year vehicle, which comes with a 34.13 kWh battery pack and a combined 510 kW (or 693 PS) from its electric motors. When paired with the 2.0L turbo engine, the G700 has a total system output of 904 PS with 1,135 Nm of torque.

When it comes to its electric powertrain, the G700 is claimed to have an electric range of up to 100 km and a total system range of up to 1,400 km under ideal conditions. From a standstill, Jetour says the G700 can hit 100 km/h in a mere 4.6 seconds.

With the 2026 Manila International Auto Show slated for next week, it looks like Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) will have one heck of a reveal at the World Trade Center Manila. Once unveiled, the Jetour G700 will likely go against the likes of the Denza B8 plug-in hybrid.
