All-new Toyota Vios Ativ starts at PHP 916K
After inviting us to test drive their all-new electrified subcompact sedan and revealing the variants & prices earlier this month, Toyota Motor Philippines has officially unveiled the specs and features of the 2026 Vios Ativ.
Available in both hybrid and non-hybrid variants, the all-new Vios Ativ serves as the latest generation of Toyota's B-segment sedan. The Vios Ativ complements the existing Vios (now only offered as fleet variants) and is aimed to continue dominating the subcompact sedan market by being Toyota's most affordable hybrid to date in the brand's lineup.

As mentioned before, the 2026 Vios Ativ is now available with an electrified powertrain via a new 1.5L hybrid four-cylinder engine that delivers a combined 111 PS thanks to the assistance of an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. Power is then sent to the front wheels via a CVT. There are also non-hybrid versions that come with a naturally aspirated 1.5L or 1.3L inline-fours. The 1.5L non-hybrid is only available with a CVT, while the 1.3L models can be specified with either a CVT or a five-speed manual.

The 2026 Vios Ativ also features a sleeker and more modern design that's reflective of Toyota's current design approach. The front fascia is dominated by a distinct pair of LED headlights, along with LED daytime running lights. It also gets a bigger and bolder grille and a relatively long hood. Combined with a fastback-inspired profile, new alloy wheel designs, and stylish LED taillights, the Vios Ativ stands out thanks to its more dynamic appearance.
Size-wise, the Vios Ativ measures 4425mm long, 1740mm wide, 1480mm tall, and has a 2620mm wheelbase. It also has 160mm of ground clearance.

Hop inside, and the 2026 Vios Ativ welcomes occupants with a 7-inch digital instrument panel and a new touchscreen infotainment system that's available up to 10.1 inches in size. It comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with other in-car features such as Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Depending on the variant, the Vios Ativ can come with fabric seats or leather seats on higher-grade models.

Other key features available in the Vios Ativ include: a wireless charging pad, push-button start, keyless smart entry, a panoramic view monitor, and an electronic parking brake.

For extra peace of mind while on the road, the 2026 Vios Ativ is available with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). This gives the B-segment sedan intelligent driver aids such as pre-collision system, automatic high beams, lane-tracing assist, lane departure alert, and adaptive cruise control. All variants are also equipped with anti-lock brakes with brake assist, vehicle stability control, blind-spot monitoring, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and multiple airbags.

“The all-new Toyota Ativ is another statement of Toyota’s continued mission to bring electrified mobility within reach of more Filipinos. We know choosing your first car, and an electrified model at that, can be a bold decision, so the ATIV makes it simple and easy by delivering modern HEV features, while providing peace of mind with reliability, safety, ease of ownership, and joy of use,” said Elijah Sue Marcial, TMP First vice president for Vehicle Sales Operations.

Sales of the all-new Toyota Vios Ativ will start in October 2025 nationwide at authorized dealerships across the country. You can also check out the all-new Toyota Vios Ativ at its public launch from October 24 – 26, 2025, at the BGC Amphitheater at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
