Toyota releases prices of new 2026 Vios Ativ
As you may already know, when Toyota launches something in the Philippines, everyone takes notice. And when they launch something as important as a new Vios, then even more will be watching and observing because it’s the number one nameplate in the country, full stop.

So right now two of my guys are out checking out and trying the new Toyota Vios Ativ, and we’re waiting on word for their take on how the new models feel and how these will fit in the automotive landscape.

Unfortunately they can’t disclose those details yet (because embargo) but from the information and photos that were already cleared, we can give you more details as to what the local line up for the Vios Ativ and the Vios will be like. Yes, we said Vios Ativ and Vios.

We at AutoIndustriya made the “guess” that Toyota Motor Philippines will retain the current generation Vios that is in production at their Santa Rosa, Laguna factory, and we can almost confirm it. That said, below is what the Vios Ativ model lineup will look like, including the Vios non-Ativ models we think will be retained for local production

It’s worth noting that the prices of the Vios Ativ are on an introductory basis. That is becoming standard practice now for a lot of new brands coming into the market (We’re looking at you, BYD) to generate buzz and sales early on. Eventually, the pricing will go up after the introductory period, but already you can see what the model strategy will look like. If you're wondering what PC means, it's for Premium Color, like white pearl.

Also, we can surmise that given the pricing, Toyota will axe the local production of the 1.5L Vios models because they might as well switch to the 1.5 G model Ativ. It makes no sense to retain the 1.5 G Vios, but it does make sense to retain the XLE, XE and J models. The pricing will neatly fit under the Vios Ativ model range, and probably remain as the core model for fleet and commercial customers.

What is also clear is that while we still refer to it as Vios Ativ as we did with Corolla Altis, Toyota’s marketing is already shifting to Ativ only. We can’t share the full specifications of the vehicles, but we can show you images of the interior and variants so you can zoom in and check for yourself.
