This is your first look at Hyundai Ioniq 6 N

It was around two months ago when Hyundai officially confirmed the existence of the Ioniq 6 N. That's right, the Ioniq 5 N will soon be joined by a sleek sedan that will likely give supercars a run for their money.

At the time, Hyundai partially teased the Ioniq 6 N in a group photo where it was hidden behind some regular Ioniq 6 units. Now, the automaker has released new details about its upcoming super electric sedan, as well as some new teaser images.

Starting with the pictures, the upcoming Ioniq 6 N will still have a sleek and curvaceous exterior that's shared with the refreshed Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 6 N Line. However, the souped-up version gets aerodynamic upgrades in the form of flared fenders and a massive wing spoiler. Combined with lighter wheels and a wider stance, the Ioniq 6 N combines aerodynamic efficiency and a more dynamic capability.

The Ioniq 6 N will also embody Hyundai N's three core performance pillars, ‘Corner Rascal’, 'Racetrack Capability', and ‘Everyday Sports Car’. All of these will allow the Ioniq 6 N to deliver an exhilarating and intuitive driving experience, according to Hyundai.

“Ioniq 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment to deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans. We chose to debut the Ioniq 6 N at Goodwood Festival of Speed to be as close to our fans as possible,” said Joon Park, vice president & Head of N Management Group.

Other details of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N remain a mystery. However, we won't be surprised that it will have the same electric powertrain as the Ioniq 5 N. That means it's highly likely to crank out 600 PS and have up to 770 Nm of torque with N Grin Boost engaged. Last but not least, the Ioniq 6 N might also be capable of sprinting from 0 – 100 km/h in less than four seconds and achieving a top speed of up to 250 km/h.
