GWM Philippines will unveil not one, not two, but three vehicles at this year's MIAS
It looks like GWM Philippines will have one heck of a booth at the upcoming 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). While the brand already has the Cannon and Haval H9 as its newest offerings, demand for electrified vehicles suddenly went up following the skyrocketing of fuel prices due to the ongoing Middle East conflicts.
With this year's MIAS only several days away, it looks like GWM Philippines is out to remind everyone that they are also known for making high-tech and robust 4x4s that benefit from electrified powertrains.

Set to make their presence felt at the World Trade Center Manila are three vehicles from GWM. Based on the teaser image they released, it looks like they will be revealing the Ora 5, the Tank 700, and the Haval H7 (AKA the Haval Raptor).

Starting with the vehicle on the left, the Ora 5 will replace the Ora 03 and could be offered first as a battery electric vehicle (BEV). First launched last year, the Ora 5 is an electric crossover that comes with an electric motor that puts out 204 PS and is available with two battery packs: 63.87 kWh and 83.49 kWh. This gives the Ora 5 an electric range between 555 km and 705 km. There's also an HEV version, which recently made its debut in Bangkok, but we might not get that model right away.

Next is the vehicle in the center, which could be the Tank 700. This frame-based vehicle could be offered as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) via the Hi4-Z model. It's powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and is assisted by electric motors and a high-capacity 59.05 kWh battery pack. This gives the Tank 700 Hi4-Z PHEV a combined system output of 900 HP and 1,195 Nm of torque, which pits it squarely against the likes of the Jetour G700. It's also capable of traveling on battery power for up to 190 km and comes with an intelligent 4WD system.

Last but not least is the vehicle on the right, which will most likely be the Haval H7. Like the Tank 700, the H7 could also come in plug-in hybrid form. Based on what they revealed last year, the Haval H7 is available with the Hi4 PHEV powertrain, which consists of a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder and a pair of electric motors. The result is a combined system output of 449 PS with 750 Nm of torque and the ability to travel up to 151 km on electric power thanks to a 35.43 kWh battery pack.
With three vehicles set to be unveiled at MIAS 2026, GWM Philippines will have one heck of a reveal come April 9 at the World Trade Center Manila.
