Monjaro flagship SUV coming around late 2026
As early as 2023, there have been whispers that the flagship Geely Monjaro will be making its way to the Philippine market. Now with the new Geely Motor Philippines at the helm, it looks like we’re inching closer to finally getting it.
Geely PH is looking at having an aggressive model launch campaign in the country for the coming years. And apart from launching a Sealion 6 rival with the EX5 PHEV, the next on the list could finally be the Monjaro.

Think of it as the Geely version of the Volvo XC60, and you get a clearer picture of what it is. It shares the CMA architecture with the smaller Volvo XC40, but the Monjaro is a five-seater premium SUV geared for luxury and equipped with high-tech features for both cabin comfort and safety.

Much like the EX5 PHEV, Geely PH is intent to bring the EM-P Super Hybrid version of the Monjaro. Instead of a 2.0-liter turbo under the hood, the PHEV version combines a 1.5-liter turbo-four with dual motors to form an intelligent all-wheel-drive system. Geely is also claiming a range of over 1000 km with this setup.

Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 15.4-inch Flyme Auto infotainment system with 16 speakers. Power features for the seats are also expected, along with premium choice of leather.
As for market arrival, Geely says the Monjaro could be launched by around Q4 2026.
