All-new Lexus ES, updated IS to be launched in PH in 2026
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) greeted 2026 with one heck of a record sales figure for the year that was. Not only that, but the automaker also announced would be launching five new models this 2026: the Land Cruiser FJ, the all-new Hilux, the next-generation RAV4, the Land Cruiser 300 HEV, and the Urban Cruiser EV.
Aside from Toyota, Lexus Philippines will also be launching a couple of vehicles this year: the refreshed IS sports sedan and the all-new ES.

Starting with the IS, the third-generation IS received its latest update last year and has ditched the brand's signature spindle grille. The result is a more aggressive look that's complemented by a new front bumper and slightly redesigned LED headlights. The rear largely remains the same, as it still comes with the stylish LED taillights and aggressive back bumper with dual exhausts for the V6 variants.
Other key changes present on the updated Lexus IS include new 19-inch alloy wheels for the F Sport, a new exterior color called Neutrino Gray, and red brake calipers that feature the Lexus logo.

Over to the all-new Lexus ES, the midsize luxury sedan is now on its eighth generation and is available as an EV for the first time. First are the EV variants called the ES 500e and ES 350e. The former comes with dual electric motors that deliver a combined 343 PS, while the latter only has a single front electric motor that puts out 224 PS. On a full charge, the ES 500e has an estimated range of up to 610 km based on the CLTC cycle, while the ES 350e can do up to 685 km, also based on the CLTC cycle.
There will also be hybrid variants of the all-new Lexus ES: the ES 300h and the ES 350h. The former has a 2.0L electrified four-cylinder engine while the latter comes with a 2.5L electrified inline-four.
Watch out for more details about the all-new Lexus ES and the refreshed IS closer to the Philippine launch.
