Chevrolet PH reveals Spark EUV with up to 360 km of range

After appearing on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) list of recognized electric vehicles (EVs), Chevrolet Philippines distributor Hariphil Asia Resources Inc. has officially launched its cutest EV yet.
Following the debut of the Captiva EV and PHEV variants, Chevrolet has officially launched the Spark EUV. Also called the Baojun Yep Plus, this pint-sized crossover has bags of character and produces zero emissions.
Powering the Spark EUV is a 42 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, which gives it a range of up to 360 km on a full charge. A single electric motor provides the necessary propulsion, which puts out 102 PS and 180 Nm of torque.
Recharging the Spark EUV can be done in two ways: a 6.6 kW AC charger and a fast DC charger that supports up to 150 kW of charge. When hooked up to the former, the battery can be recharged from 20% to 100% in 7 hours. Meanwhile, a 150 kW DC fast charger can recharge the EV from 20% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
Inside, the Spark EUV has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has selectable drive modes for the powertrain, which include Eco, Normal, and Sport. The Spark EUV even gets multiple modes for the regenerative braking: High, Standard, and Low. For peace of mind, the Spark EUV is equipped with front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a host of airbags.
Other in-car features available inside the Spark EUV include leather upholstery, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a generous cargo space that can hold up to 549 liters worth of luggage and is expandable to 1,493 liters with the rear seats folded.
Last but not least, the exterior of the Spark EUV gets LED headlights & taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and measures 4003mm long, 1760mm wide, and 1726mm tall.
The Chevrolet Spark EUV retails at a special introductory price of PHP 1.449 million.
