Porsche expands electric Macan lineup with GTS
Earlier in the year, PGA Cars introduced the all-electric Porsche Macan to the Philippine market with two variants – the Macan 4 and the range-topping Macan Turbo. But pretty soon, we may be looking at welcoming the middle child in the lineup.
Porsche has expanded the Macan lineup with the GTS, which was built for those willing to trade outright power for a more engaging time behind the wheel.

Positioned underneath the electric Macan Turbo, the Macan GTS borrows its rear axle motor from the Turbo, combining with the front axle motor to put out 516 PS. In overboost mode with Launch Control, the electric power rises to 571 PS and 955 Nm of torque.
This enables the electric Macan GTS to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, 0 to 200 in 13.3 seconds, and has a top speed limited to 250 km/h. As an all-electric vehicle, the Macan GTS has a 100 kWh high-voltage battery that gives the SUV a combined WLTP range of up to 586 kilometers. It can also be charged from 10 to 80% SOC within 21 minutes when connected to a 270 kW DC fast charger with its 800V architecture.

The Sport Chrono Package for electric Porsches is standard for the Macan GTS, while it gets a distinct sound in the Sport and Sport Plus modes through the Porsche Electric Sport Sound feature or PESS. Likewise, Porsche says the driving engagement is increased thanks to the GTS having a 10mm lower ride height, an electronic rear differential, a 48:52 weight distribution, special tuning for the dampers and anti-roll bar, as well as bespoke traction control and torque vectoring systems.
True to GTS tradition, the electric Macan gets blacked-out trims on the exterior, with tinted Matrix LED headlights. The side skirts are also redesigned for the GTS, while the wheels are 21-inch units finished in Anthracite Gray.

Inside, the GTS features the same layout as the rest of the Macan lineup, along with the option of having triple screens. The only thing different here is that the cabin of the GTS is wrapped in a mix of Race-Tex upholstery and black leather.

For now, Porsche has yet to announce product rollout dates for the new electric Macan GTS in the Philippines. But with the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo already in the country, there’s good reason to expect that the GTS could soon be here, probably around the early months of 2026.
