PGA Cars Inc. officially launches all-electric Macan
Looking to get yourself an all-electric Porsche but prefer something different than the Taycan? Customers who have longed for an electric crossover from the Stuttgart-based brand need not wonder anymore as PGA Cars Inc. has officially revealed the new Macan EV for the Philippine market.

Now serving as the sportiest crossover SUV in the lineup (and perhaps in its segment), the new all-electric Macan is the first Porsche to utilize the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) which gives it one of the highest technical standards for EVs. Moreover, the design of the Macan EV blends Taycan-inspired elements as well as familiar styling cues from the ICE version of the crossover.

Starting with its all-electric hardware, the 2025 Macan EV is available in two distinct variants, both of which come with dual electric motors. The range starts with the Macan 4 which generates 408 PS and 650 Nm of torque. Thanks to the AWD system, the Macan 4 can go from 0 - 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and reach a 220 km/h top speed. With a fully charged 100 kWh battery, Porsche claims the Macan 4 can cover up to 612 km based on the WLTP cycle.

Next up is the more powerful (and range-topping) Macan Turbo. This one makes 639 PS and a whopping 1,130 Nm of pull. This one also comes with AWD which allows it to sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in a mere 3.3 seconds before reaching its top speed of 260 km/h. The Macan Turbo also comes with a 100 kWh battery pack and can travel up to 590 km on a single charge.

Recharging the Macan EV can be done with a standard 11kW AC wallbox. But thanks to an 800V architecture, the all-electric Macan is capable of supporting up to 270 kW of DC fast charging. Porsche says this allows the Macan EV to be charged from 10% to 80% in as little as 21 minutes.

Design-wise, the all-electric Macan features Porsche’s hallmark DNA styling. Both variants come with Matrix LED lighting technology and the brand’s new signature LED lighting signature.

Also worth mentioning is the Taycan-like LED taillight design which highlights the vehicle’s sportier nature. It also has the unmistakable Porsche flyline, raked coupe-like window silhouette, and side blades that have become synonymous with Porsche vehicles.

Hop inside and the Macan EV comes with the new Porsche Driver Experience which consists of various high-definition displays. Mixing both analog and digital elements, the all-electric Macan features a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch central infotainment display, and an additional 10.9-inch passenger screen.

The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) is standard equipment and features a wide array of in-car features such as navigation, climate control, and wireless pairing of mobile devices. Speaking of which, it comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

Since it doesn’t come with an engine and a traditional drivetrain, Porsche was able to maximize cabin space for the new Macan EV. With the rear seats deployed, the Macan EV can hold up to 540 liters worth of luggage. Fold them down and cargo capacity increases to 1,348 liters. Last but not least, it also has an 84-liter frunk which can store smaller items with ease.
