Fuso PH reinforces its role as one of the preferred mobility providers in the CV market

The Philippine commercial vehicle market remained resilient in 2025, supported by continued demand for transport and logistics solutions despite economic headwinds.

Citing the comprehensive industry report of AutoIndustriya.com, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) closed the year in third place among Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) Category III to V commercial vehicle segments (over 3 tons Gross Vehicle Weight). The company delivered 1,461 units in 2025, posting an 8.1-percent increase year-on-year, building on the industry’s 35-percent vehicle sales growth recorded in 2024 versus 2023.

SFP’s performance was driven primarily by sustained demand for the Fuso Canter light-duty truck lineup, supported by improved customer support systems and an expanded nationwide market presence. Fuso continues to strengthen its position as a preferred mobility solutions provider for businesses nationwide, backed by growing partnerships and its reputation for reliable and efficient commercial vehicles.

A key factor in the company’s performance was its extensive dealership network, which enhanced market accessibility, strengthened sales coverage, and ensured consistent aftersales support across the country.

“This milestone reflects the dedication of our dealer network and team, as well as the continued trust of our customers,” said Mr. Yosuke Nishi, president and CEO of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation. “We remain committed to delivering dependable mobility solutions that keep businesses moving.”

Daimler Truck Sales & Marketing Southeast Asia Vice President Mr. Cho Kyu-Sang congratulated the local team, citing its strong customer focus and excellence in both sales and aftersales services as drivers of the company’s continued momentum.
