2026 TGR PH Cup to feature Tamaraw OMR
Toyota Motor Philippines’ premiere racing series, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup, is entering its 12th season this year, and there’s plenty to be excited about.
The 2026 racing season will see the official race debut of the Toyota Tamaraw OMR, which will be raced by both new and experienced drivers, and TMP president Masando Hashimoto himself. This means two one-make races will now be featured on a TGR Philippine Cup weekend, as the existing Vios OMRs are set to continue racing this year.

From three race weekends, the 2026 TGR Philippine Cup will now have four legs, which will begin on March 13 to 15 at Riverpark in General Trias, Cavite. It is a real estate development of Federal Land, and yes, there’s no permanent structure in place for a race track in that area - TMP will be building a street circuit to bring racing closer to people, much like the TGR Philippine Cup street race held in Villar City last year.
Furthermore, the upcoming season will see the TGR Philippine Cup have a race weekend held at the Batangas Racing Circuit for the very first time. TMP has announced it will happen on August 13 to 15, which will be the third leg of the championship.
Lastly, the usual races at Clark International Speedway will happen at the second and final legs of the TGR Philippine Cup. The dates are as follows:
March 13 to 15 – Riverpark, General Trias, Cavite
July 9 to 11 – Clark International Speedway
August 13 to 15 – Batangas Racing Circuit
September 10 to 12 – Clark International Speedway
