Hot racing action returns at Clark Speedway
Toyota Motor Philippines has successfully finished another race weekend for the 10th season of its motorsports program, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup (formerly known as the Vios Cup). With scorching hot weather, the racing action is just as intense with more than 30 racers battling it out for the sprint and endurance races.

The second round of the TGR Philippine Cup saw new drivers joining the grid, along with new regulations for standard tires in the championship. The Novice Class, which uses the CVT version of the Vios race car has now been fitted with GT Radial SX2 tires – similar to the tires run by the Promotional and Sporting Classes.

As it was in the first round, all classes raced at the Clark International Speedway for two sprint races and a 1 hour 30-minute endurance race. After all was said and done, here is the full list of winners:

Along with the circuit races, GR owners also took to the track to demonstrate their skills on a track day, while fans were treated with shotgun rides using the GR Yaris and GR Supra. Barbie Almalbis also entertained the crowd with her music as the races have come to a close.
There’s one more round remaining for the 2024 TGR Philippine Cup, which will again be held at Clark International Speedway on November 9.
