Four major reveals could be coming at JMS 2025

The 2025 Japan Mobility Show is happening in two weeks, and Toyota is giving us reasons to be excited about what it’s showcasing at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center.

In an online broadcast, Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Akio Toyoda himself was one of the presenters as they teased four important concepts that will be revealed at the show. Those included models from Lexus, Gazoo Racing, Toyota, and the Century brand.

The announcement started with a new luxury coupe version of the flagship Century, which features forward-sliding doors along with the signature solid face front fascia that features split headlights. By the looks of things, the Century coupe could be a competitor to the likes of Bentley or Rolls-Royce.

Still in the realm of luxury, Toyota is looking to reveal a radical MPV under the Lexus brand – one that features not four, but six wheels. It was named the LS concept, which now means Luxury Space instead of Luxury Sedan. The MPV appears to be much bigger than the existing LM, with seating for six passengers based on the concept scale model.

For those waiting for new things under the Toyota performance brand Gazoo Racing, they teased the front headlight of the upcoming GR Super Sports / Lexus LFR concept. The presentation says the words “The Soul Lives On”, indicating that the GR Super Sports / Lexus LFR concept will be the successor of the Lexus LFA as a Grand Touring sports car.

The GT concept is likely to also feature the hammerhead design language – a new signature that was first seen on the Prius, then made its way to the Camry and RAV4. The audio clips of the 2000 GT’s inline-six engine and the LFA’s V10 engine were also played, along with the preview of the exhaust note of the GR Super Sports’ V8 twin-turbo engine.

Lastly, Toyota is looking to reveal the new Corolla Concept, which takes a new angular approach in terms of design. With the car featuring a short hood, a steeply raked A-pillar, and a fastback-style rear, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Corolla Concept comes close to the Prius once the production model comes out.

All these teasers show that Toyota isn’t looking to be conservative for its future models, but more will be revealed as we move closer to the Japan Mobility Show that starts on October 30, 2025.
