Refreshed Hyundai Stargazer, Stargazer X launched in PH
It’s time for the Philippine market to experience Hyundai’s refreshed 7-seater MPV, just three months after it made its premiere in Indonesia.
Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has launched the new Stargazer and Stargazer X, sporting a revised look on the outside with updated tech and features inside that Hyundai hopes will boost the appeal of its 7-seat MPV challengers in the market.

As seen from the Indonesia-spec version, the Stargazer and Stargazer X have a completely redesigned front fascia – trading off the Staria-style look for a more SUV and squarish front end that‘s reminiscent of the Palisade. The grille receives bigger horizontal slats, and under it is a blocky under garnish painted in silver.

The side profile is carried over from the pre-facelift version, with the Stargazer X distinguishing itself from the standard model with its roof rails and fender flares. Both the Stargazer and Stargazer X receive new alloy wheel designs, with the latter's 17-inch units finished in black while the former's 16-inchers is finished in silver. Ground clearance stays at 205 mm.
The signature H-shaped LED light bar at the back has likewise been revised for the 2026 model year with thicker vertical elements, while the license plate holder has been repositioned to the lower part of the rear bumper.

Much like the update given to the Tucson, Hyundai chose to completely revamp the Stargazer’s dashboard. The blocky panel that used to house the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen has been changed to a panoramic panel, combining the two screens to form a more seamless display.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard for top-spec models, with wireless charging available for the GLS Premium Stargazer and Stargazer X. The steering wheel remains the same, but the climate control panel is entirely new for the updated version. Both the Stargazer and Stargazer X are offered exclusively with 7 seats for the Philippine market.

Hyundai will continue to offer both the Stargazer and Stargazer X with the 1.5-liter Smartstream G engine that makes 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque paired to an IVT.

Higher spec variants also get Hyundai’s SmartSense ADAS, equipping the Stargazer with blind spot collision avoidance assist, forward collision warning, and rear cross traffic avoidance alert are available, along with smart cruise control with stop & go function, lane keep assist, and driver attention warning in its list of intelligent driving features.
Available colors for the 2026 Stargazer include: Creamy White Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, Magnetic Silver Metallic, Midnight Black Pearl, and Titan Gray Metallic.
