Size-wise, the Urban Cruiser measures 4285 mm long, 1800 mm wide, 1635 mm tall and a wheelbase of 2700 mm, making it close in size to the Yaris Cross HEV. The Urban Cruiser distinguishes itself from its Suzuki twin by having a different front fascia, taking the “Hammerhead” style of the all-new Camry and the all-new Prius.

Inside, the Urban Cruiser has a black and brown interior, with silver accents on the trim pieces. It gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Other features include a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, and the rear 40:20:40 split seats equipped with a sliding mechanism to increase legroom.

Toyota chose the largest battery available for the Urban Cruiser for the Philippine market, as it is equipped with a 61 kWh LFP battery paired to a front-mounted electric motor, making 174 PS and 189 Nm of torque. In this setup, Toyota claims the Urban Cruiser can reach up to 475 km of range, with recharging courtesy of a CCS Type 2 plug.

In terms of safety, the Urban Cruiser comes with an ADAS system with adaptive cruise control, front collision, rear cross traffic, and blind spot monitoring. For passive safety, it has 7 airbags and the customary electronic stability system.
