Hiace gets a GR makeover kit
We’ve become so used to seeing the H200 generation Toyota Hiace on our roads, that it’s hard to believe the van is in production for more than 20 years already.
Despite all that, sales continue to remain strong in the Philippine market, and the same can be said in its home market in Japan. In fact, Toyota’s not yet done giving updates to the Hiace, and they still find a way to dress it up.

The GR Parts division has released a couple of accessories to amp up the styling of the H200 Hiace. Part of that is the GR Parts Version I that’s inspired by off-road design, evidenced by GR mudflaps, metal-style skid plates, and rugged-looking bumper inserts with integrated LED lights.
Meanwhile, Version II is more inclined towards the sportier side of things with a front splitter and subtle side skirt extensions. The rear bumper protrudes more in this version, while other accessories include GR branded plate frames, bolts, and a set of 15-inch alloy wheels.

There’s also a series of dress up kits made by Modellista if you want your Hiace with more pronounced aero components, along with decals, metal style trim pieces, and different wheel designs. Apart from that, the cabin can also be accessorized with wood trim, LED lighting, and leather seats.

The Modellista parts also serve those who want a more comfortable ride and extra rigidity for the Hiace, as they offer tweaked shock absorbers and rear chassis bracing parts. And unlike the GR Parts catalog, the Modellista dress up kits apply also to wide-body H200 Hiace models, more commonly known here as the LXV, GL Grandia and the Super Grandia variants.
While the Modellista and GR branded dress up parts are not being sold officially in Toyota dealers here in the country, it's always possible to pay a visit to the Land of the Rising Sun and do the shopping there right?
