Check out the sleeker, more stylish fourth generation Suzuki Dzire

Last week, Suzuki released the full specifications and details of the 2025 Dzire. Now on its fourth generation, the pint-sized sedan not only gets a fresh new look but also comes with plenty of new and standard technologies. At the time, the automaker only released teaser photos of the all-new sedan.

Fast-forward one week, and the brand has officially revealed the 2025 Dzire in all its glory. Like the teaser photos we saw last week, the all-new Dzire gets its own look that is no longer shared with the Swift. The result is a sleeker and more unique appearance that makes it stand out from its hatchback sibling.

At the front is a distinct pair of LED headlights that are complemented by a large grille with black inlays and black chrome trim. While some may still lament the odd-looking rear end of the 2025 Swift, Suzuki was busy giving it a more aggressive look thanks to redesigned LED taillights, an integrated spoiler on the trunk lid, and a new rear bumper. Topping everything off are the 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels (14-inch steelies on lesser variants), and a power sunroof on high-grade models.

The 2025 Dzire measures 3995mm long, 1735mm wide, 1525mm tall, and has a 2450mm wheelbase. It also has 163mm of ground clearance.

Open the doors and the interior of the 2025 Dzire is closely similar to the design of the latest Swift. However, the Dzire trades the usual black-gray furniture for some lighter shades of beige and cream. The result is a cabin that looks and feels spacious despite the sedan measuring less than 4 meters in length. It even comes with faux wood accents for that extra cabin flair.

As far as equipment is concerned, high-grade models of the 2025 Dzire come with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad for your mobile phones, a 360-degree camera system for extra visibility, rear A/C vents, rear USB charging ports, a rear center armrest, and a flat-bottom steering wheel.

Under the hood, the 2025 Dzire is powered by the new 1.2L Z12E three-cylinder engine that’s shared with the latest Swift. It makes 82 PS with 111 Nm of torque and is mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) called Auto Gear Shift (AGS). The powertrain comes with an idle stop/start system for better fuel efficiency while on the go.

All variants of the 2025 Dzire in India come with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and pedestrian protection. This makes the all-new Dzire the first-ever Maruti-built vehicle to get a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

With the 2025 Suzuki Dzire now available in India, perhaps it might not be long before it arrives here in the Philippines. We’re hoping it makes its way here in Q1 2025 or perhaps Suzuki Philippines will hold its local launch at next year’s Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
