Suzuki reveals specs of next-gen Dzire ahead of Nov 11 launch in India
After being spotted ahead of its launch a few months ago, Suzuki has officially revealed the specs and features of the all-new Dzire. While the automaker is not yet ready to fully reveal the vehicle, automotive publications in India have already shown the next-generation Dzire with its new design. This confirms what we saw earlier this year when it was first spotted.
It gets a brand-new look inside and out, a more striking appearance, a more decked-out interior, as well as a new 1.2L engine under the hood shared with the next-generation Swift.
Just like the photos we saw earlier this year, the all-new Dzire gets a glow-up. No longer resembling its hatchback twin (the Swift), the 2025 Dzire features a distinct front fascia that consists of a stylish grille, eye-catching headlights, and a flat hood which gives the sedan a more stately look. Topping it all off are the diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 185/55/R15 tires and a sunroof which is standard on high-grade models.

Size-wise, the all-new Dzire measures 3995mm long, 1735mm wide, 1525mm tall, and has a 2450mm wheelbase. It also has 163mm of ground clearance, so taking on rough roads will be easier in the Dzire.
Open the doors and those familiar with the all-new Swift's cabin will find a similar-looking interior. However, the Dzire comes with a lighter shade of color along with faux wood trim. On high-grade versions, the Dzire comes with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a flat-bottom steering wheel, cruise control, rear A/C vents, rear USB charging ports, a wireless charging pad, and a 360-degree camera system.

Under the hood, the Dzire now has a new 1.2L three-cylinder engine derived from the all-new Swift. Dubbed the Z12E, the inline-three makes 82 PS with 111 Nm of torque and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or the brand's 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) called Auto Gear Shift (AGS). The Dzire also benefits from an idle stop/start system for improved fuel efficiency.
With the all-new sedan set to become available in India soon, we're hoping Suzuki Philippines brings both the next-generation Dzire and Swift soon.
