Ford PH celebrates 1st annivesary of Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6
It took some time, but after launching the Ranger Raptor V6 over a year ago at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Ford Philippines is happy to announce that they have achieved a milestone with the twin-turbo pickup truck.
The Blue Oval recently celebrated a milestone for the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 as the nameplate marked its first anniversary since it was launched in the Philippines. With that, the Raptor V6 community in the Philippines has grown to 1,000 proud owners.
“The response to the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 in its first year has been incredible. Customers have embraced it as both a serious performance pickup and a trusted everyday companion, and their stories show how strongly the truck fits Filipino lifestyles,” said Pedro Simoes, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.
One of the earliest owners of the Ranger Raptor V6 is system integrator Angel Santiago. His work involves regular client visits, which sometimes require long drives. He decided to buy the Ranger Raptor V6 after witnessing its launch despite already having a 2.0L diesel version of the pickup.

“I have two identical-looking Raptors – both black, and both have Monday coding plates. No matter the distance, the Raptor V6 turned my client visits into something I look forward to,” said Santiago.
Ivan Capati is another proud owner. He shared that his most memorable drive so far was his first solo trip to La Union and Baguio over three days, taken in heavy rain with some sections of the route flooded.

“Despite the adverse weather conditions, I never felt unsafe at any point. Mind you, I usually bring someone with me in case something happens and I would need help. This time, however, the Raptor V6 felt planted, powerful, and comfortable the whole way, so I never felt stressed,” shared Capati.
Another Raptor V6 owner is Roger Aventurado. For him, the V6 represents the latest step in a long relationship with Ford. He proudly admitted owning multiple Ranger variants from 2018 onward, before finally getting a Raptor V6 earlier this year. He now drives his Raptor V6 nearly every day and considers it his best Raptor yet in terms of performance and presence on the road.

“I have owned several Ford pickups since 2018, but the Raptor V6 is on a different level. It is the first pickup that truly feels like a reward for all those years of work,” added Aventurado.
For Ken Chee, another member of a local Raptor club, owning a V6 is the natural progression of a long relationship with Ford. Before acquiring the 3.0L version, he owned various iterations of the Ranger Raptor. That didn’t stop him from getting a V6 in August this year.

“I already know the 2.0L Raptor is a good ride, but I was pleasantly surprised with the 3.0L version. You can actually feel a next-level difference, especially when traveling on rough roads, said Chee.
And then, there’s Zainal Limpao, another longtime Ford loyalist who alternates driving his V6 and his Ford Everest. He was among the first batch of Raptor 3.0L buyers during the launch last year, and according to him, it was money well spent. A round-trip drive from Cavite to Pangasinan validated his choice.

“I had my family with me during the trip, and it was raining most of the time. The all-wheel drive and the V6 power helped a lot, so what should’ve been a long and grueling trip was actually a smooth and enjoyable ride,” shared Limpao.
With its twin-turbo 3.0L V6 pushing 397 PS with 583 Nm of torque, a 10-speed automatic gearbox, Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass dampers, and up to seven selectable drive modes, the Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 allows customers to enjoy the road less traveled with confidence and with ease.
Prices start at PHP 2,799,000.
