Ford Philippines expands Ranger Raptor lineup with new twin-turbo V6 variant
It’s official, the Ford Ranger Raptor range now includes a gasoline-powered variant that has long been sought by customers.

Say hello to the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor V6, and boy does it have one heck of a powertrain. With it, the Ranger Raptor range in the country now includes both the twin-turbo V6 and the bi-turbo diesel four-cylinder.

Under the hood of the gas-powered Ranger Raptor is a thumping 3.0L twin-turbo V6. It cranks out a hearty 397 PS and a generous 583 Nm of torque. It also benefits from a race-bred anti-lag system (Baja mode only) that enables rapid delivery of boost on-demand as well as providing immediate throttle inputs.

Power is then sent to a 10-speed automatic transmission that has been calibrated to deliver optimized performance. In addition, the V6-powered Ranger Raptor has an electronically-controlled active exhaust system that amplifies the engine note in four distinct modes - Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja.

Like the diesel-powered Raptor, the V6 twin-turbo version also benefits from a completely redesigned suspension. It gets new, tough, yet lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms, long-travel front and rear suspension, and a refined Watt’s Link rear end for better ride quality at high speeds. As before, it has new Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass dampers that have position-sensitive damping capability.
For extra protection when going off-road, it has underbody protection that consists of; a front bash that is made from 2.3mm thick steel and a shield for the transfer case & engine. Last, but not least, the Ranger Raptor gets an advanced full-time 4WD system with an all-new, electronically controlled, on-demand two-speed transfer case. It also comes with front and rear locking differentials for extra traction on the toughest of terrains.

Like the bi-turbo diesel version, the V6-powered Ranger Raptor gets a tablet-inspired touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Also present are the jet fighter-inspired sport seats, the Code Orange accents on the instrument panel, and cast-magnesium paddle shifters.
For now, Ford has only brought 300 units of the V6-powered halo pickup truck. Should more customers want to get one, we won’t be surprised if the Blue Oval will bring more soon.
