The Cybertruck appears on Tesla Philippines' website

We’ve already seen several examples of the Tesla Cybertruck roaming Philippine roads since last year. It’s hard to miss what it looks like since its design immediately stands out from the rest. Whether you love it or hate it, the Cybertruck and its polarizing looks always gather stares from onlookers wherever it goes.

But unlike the Model 3 and Model Y which are now officially on sale from Tesla Philippines, the Cybertrucks currently roaming in the country are most likely gray imports. However, we may not have to wait for long for the pickup’s official arrival in the Philippines.

While browsing the Tesla Philippines website, we noticed they have the Cybertruck on their vehicle list. There are no prices yet available but they have already revealed some key details about the upcoming pickup truck. For starters, it has a towing capacity of nearly 5,000 kg, an estimated range of up to 547 km on a single charge, and is capable of sprinting from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds in its most powerful version. Size-wise, the Cybertruck measures 5682.9mm long, 2413.3mm wide, and 1790.8mm tall.

Since it’s touted to go anywhere, the Tesla Cybertruck is also available with an adaptive air suspension that offers 305mm of travel and over 400mm of ground clearance. In case you haven’t noticed it yet, the Cybertruck comes with an ultra-hard stainless steel exterior to help reduce dents, damage, and corrosion.

Need to haul plenty of cargo? Tesla claims the Cybertruck can haul up to 1,134 kg of payload. The bed, meanwhile, is big enough to carry 4x8 construction materials. Since it doesn’t have an engine in the front, it has a trunk that can store additional gear with ease. Those who need to power a worksite can have peace of mind with the Cybertruck as it has integrated 120V and 240V power outlets in its bed. It can provide up to 11.5 kW of power directly to a worksite or your home in case there’s a blackout.

Inside, the Cybertruck keeps Tesla’s minimalist interior that’s packed to the brim with amenities. These include a pair of wireless charging pads, a 65W USB-C charging port, and 120V/240V power outlets. There’s also a massive 18.5-inch Infinity infotainment system and another 9.4-inch touchscreen in the back for rear passengers. Last but not least is a 15-speaker sound system to please audiophiles.

Based on the website, the PH-spec Cybertruck could be offered in three variants. First up is the top-of-the-line Cyberbeast which can travel up to 515 km (or up to 705 km with a range extender), has a 0 - 100 km/h sprint time of 2.7 seconds, a top speed of 209 km/h, and is capable of recharging at 250 kW via a Supercharger.

Next is the mid-range AWD variant which can cover up to 547 km on a single charge (up to 755 km with a range extender), can go from 0 - 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and has a 180 km/h top speed. Like the Cyberbeast, the AWD is also rated to be recharged at 250kW with a Supercharger. With just a 15-minute recharge via a Supercharger, the Cybertruck can get over 200 km of range.

There will also be a rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant although details about it have yet to be revealed by the company.

With the Cybertruck now on the Tesla Philippines website, it looks like it will be officially offered here in the not-so-distant future. But unlike the Model 3 and Model Y which come from Tesla’s Shanghai factory, the Cybertruck will most likely come from the brand’s Gigafactory in Texas. Let us know in the comments how much you think the Tesla Cybertruck will sell for here in the Philippines.
