2027 Jeep Avenger could get mild updates in first update

It's been over 3 years since Jeep launched its newest B-SUV offering, the Avenger. It slots below the Renegade and is available with various powertrain options like a turbocharged inline-three, a battery EV, and as a mild-hybrid with a 4xe drivetrain.

The Jeep Avenger is closely related to the Peugeot 2008 but dons a more muscular and rugged exterior. It's mainly sold for the European market and is one of the most popular B-SUVs in the region. But since it's been several years since its debut, Jeep has been busy testing the facelifted model.

Our spies managed to capture photos of a camouflaged prototype of the refreshed Avenger being tested in the snow. But unlike a typical facelift with noticeable changes, it looks like Jeep will only give the Avenger a minor update.

The B-SUV's design largely remains the same, although we did notice it could get redesigned LED headlights, along with what looks to be sleeker LED taillights with new light signatures. The seven-slot grille could get some minor updates, although we're not entirely sure how Jeep could change it. The front & rear bumpers are also covered, so those could also get some minor changes in keeping with the updates.

As before, the Jeep Avenger could continue to be powered by a 1.2L three-cylinder turbo that makes 101 PS with 205 Nm of torque, a mild-hybrid 4xe three-cylinder turbo that puts out 145 PS with 230 Nm of torque, and an EV variant that delivers 158 PS with 260 Nm of torque and can travel up to 400 km on a full charge.

Jeep currently has no plans to offer the Avenger in the Philippines. But if they want a small urban crossover to attract customers, the Avenger could become a popular offering.
