MMPC officially appoints Ritsu Imaeda as new president & CEO of the company
It's official, a new boss is leading Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMPC). Recently, the automaker successfully held the transition of its leadership of its outgoing president & CEO Takeshi Hara to its new incoming executive, Ritsu Imaeda at Shangri-la The Fort on April 22, 2024.
Takeshi Hara, who served as president & CEO for the past three years, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support and dedication during his tenure. Reflecting on his journey, Hara emphasized the importance of upholding Mitsubishi's principles of corporate responsibility, integrity, and global understanding. Hara also cited the collective efforts of the MMPC team and valued partners to achieve milestones despite the challenges the company faced.

Hara reiterated MMPC's commitment to delivering top-notch vehicles and contributing significantly to society's welfare which was shown in the “Life Made Better” and “Taralets Pinas” campaigns which were introduced during his time. Hara officially handed over the reins to his successor, Ritsu Imaeda, with confidence, urging continued support for the new leadership.
For his part, incoming president Imaeda mainly handled the overseas market including assignments in several areas across different regions such as Europe, Russia, and Puerto Rico. Before assuming his role as the new president & CEO of MMPC, Imaeda led Mitsubishi Motors Sales Carribean Inc. in Puerto Rico.

His vision for MMPC's future highlights the Philippines as one of the most important markets for Mitsubishi Motors. Drawing from his experience in various overseas markets, Imaeda expressed optimism about the Philippines' growth potential and the company's prospects in the region. He also commended the Filipino people for their warm hospitality and the enthusiastic reception of Mitsubishi's products and services.
Under his tenure, Imaeda outlined the upcoming activities of MMPC like the launch of the new Xforce, demonstrating MMPC's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The executive also called for unity and collaboration among the entire Mitsubishi team and stakeholders to elevate the company's presence in the Philippines further.
