2026 Honda Prelude is inching closer to its Philippine debut

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) is giving interested customers a very good reason to visit their nearest Honda dealership tomorrow.

After holding a special preview of its all-new electrified sports coupe, HCPI is proud to announce that starting tomorrow, February 27, it will begin accepting pre-orders for the 2026 Prelude e:HEV. That's right, the 2+2 hybrid coupe is inching closer to its Philippine debut as HCPI will be available for pre-order tomorrow, Friday.

Only one variant of the all-new Prelude e:HEV will be available, which is the 2.0L e:HEV e-CVT. The official specifications have yet to be revealed, but based on the initial specifications we gathered last month, the PH-spec Prelude e:HEV will be similar to the global version.

That means it will get the 2.0L naturally aspirated inline-four Atkinson cycle engine that puts out 141 PS with 182 Nm of torque. It will then be assisted by an electric motor that produces 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque. As mentioned earlier, it will have an e-CVT, which comes with the brand's S+ shift technology that can simulate gear shifts like an automatic transmission.

The all-new Honda Prelude e:HEV will also come with Civic Type R-derived technologies. These include Brembo brake calipers, Dual Axis strut front suspension, and adaptive dampers for a more engaging driving experience.

Other key features that will be available include dual-zone climate control, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google Automotive Services, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and Honda Sensing.

A total of five colors will be available for the 2026 Honda Prelude: Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Moonlit White Pearl (exclusive to the Prelude), Racing Blue Pearl, and Rallye Red.

Customers who wish to reserve a unit can visit or contact their preferred Honda dealership starting tomorrow.
