Porsche unveils the massive “Flow Display” for upcoming Cayenne Electric
We’ve already seen photos of the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Electric thanks to our spy photographers. Despite the camouflage livery and the false panels, it’s quite clear it will have a slightly different look compared to the regular Cayenne. Heck, Porsche even released official spy photos of the upcoming EV being tested in the real world, and it looks like a bigger Macan Electric.
While we already have an idea of what the vehicle will look like on the outside, we have yet to see the Cayenne Electric’s interior. Fortunately, Porsche has released the first-ever photos of the EV’s cabin, and boy, were we surprised.
Porsche is truly embracing the future, as the Cayenne Electric’s cabin is filled with screens. No, we’re not kidding, almost every aspect of the interior of the Cayenne Electric is adorned with screens, which is something users will like (or hate).

The automaker calls it the “Flow Display,” and they say it’s the largest display ever installed in a Porsche. It has a curved design and controls almost every in-car feature and amenity with ease. It flows onto the center console, which allows for easier management of the in-car functions. It is then complemented by an optional 14.9-inch passenger display that allows users to control the infotainment system without having the driver distracted. The Flow Display also has configurable widgets and a Themes App, which allows users to set the desired color scheme on all digital displays.
Speaking of display, the 14.25-inch instrument cluster is also part of the new Flow Display and can show various clusters and points of information in clear view of the driver. These include vehicle information, navigational pointers, driver assistance systems, and infotainment menus. Combined with the optional heads-up display for the driver, Porsche says the Flow Display is one massive multi-screen indeed.

Besides having one heck of a display inside the vehicle, the Porsche Cayenne Electric also has improved comfort and space. Since it has no traditional ICE powertrain, the EV offers more cabin & luggage space without having to compromise. And in true Porsche fashion, the Cayenne Electric will have plenty of amenities at hand like power-adjustable front seats with memory function, new Mood Modes to set the light, climate, sound, and seat functions; a slide panoramic roof with Variable Light Control that allows for clear or matte glass settings, 13 interior color combinations, and leather or leather-free upholstery with contrast stitching.
With Porsche continuing to show more details and info about the Cayenne Electric, we may not have to wait long for the big debut. After all, Porsche did say they plan to unveil the all-electric crossover SUV towards the end of the year.
