Nissan dealers giving mega promo for the Z aging units
Ever since the GT-R was discontinued, the Z sports car became the torchbearer of Nissan when it comes to performance. In the Philippine market, the Z was introduced about two years ago.
Back then, everyone who wanted to get their hands on the sports car had to enter a lottery system to get an allocation, partly due to production delays and supply chain disruptions caused by the chip shortage at the time. But now that supplies are back to normal, it looks like local dealers are finding it difficult to shift units of the Z.

The Nissan Z Premium in both manual and automatic transmission has an SRP of PHP 3,988,000. But if you check out the marketplace, Nissan dealers and sales agents are giving big cash discounts. The figure varies depending on the agent and dealer, but we saw some post offering up to PHP 900K in cash discounts for the Z. Based on the information that we’ve obtained, those include the 2024 model year units.
For the 2025 model year Z Premium, sales agents are offering the vehicle with up to PHP 500K in cash discounts, and as low as PHP 88K downpayment for those who want to apply for in-house financing.

The sales situation of the Z in the Philippine market is a stark contrast to how the model is doing in the United States. Over there, the sports car enjoys a surge in demand compared to its outgoing rival, the Toyota GR Supra. Apart from having a lower starting price, the Z is being chosen as it’s still relatively new, while the GR Supra is already at the end of its lifecycle.
While it’s a challenging time for local dealers, this bit of information can be welcome news for car enthusiasts wanting to get their hands on the Z and grab this opportunity to purchase the sports car at more reachable prices.
