All-new Mitsubishi Xpander, Montero Sport, and DST are coming soon
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has officially confirmed that two of its existing vehicles will get a new lease of life. This comes after MMC announced that the next-generation Xpander MPV and the Montero Sport (AKA Pajero Sport) are coming soon.
The Japanese automaker officially confirmed this during the company's full-year financial results for fiscal year 2024. Under its product rollout strategy, Mitsubishi shared that beyond 2025, the automaker will release the all-new Xpander and Montero Sport. It will also be joined by two global models and two new battery electric vehicle (BEV) models.

Other vehicles mentioned in Mitsubishi's plans include the production version of the DST, which was first revealed in concept form at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The DST will be a 7-seater compact crossover SUV that will be based on the B-SUV XForce. It will have a front-wheel drive layout and five drive modes available. Most importantly, the DST will be launched within the 2025 fiscal year, which means it might not be long before we get to see it in the metal. We're also hoping the DST will be manufactured locally in the Philippines.
The Japanese automaker also plans to launch its next-generation Kei car, a new compact BEV SUV, which will be based on the next-generation Nissan Leaf, and the all-new Grandis, which will be based on a Renault that the automaker teased earlier this year.

Last but not least, Mitsubishi also confirmed the Nissan partnership we reported yesterday, wherein Nissan will supply the Japanese automaker with an OEM van. No exact details were released by both automakers, but based on insider information, the mystery van will most likely be based on the Nissan NV350 Urvan.
With Mitsubishi Motors looking to release new and upcoming products, the Japanese automaker will have quite a busy schedule ahead.
