Lynk & Co PH reveals most affordable version of 06 turbo crossover

During the 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Lynk & Co Philippines officially made their presence felt when they launched not one, not two, but three vehicles in total. These are the 01 PHEV, the 06 turbocharged crossover, and the 05 turbo crossover coupe.

The Lynk & Co 06 was initially offered in just two variants, the Hyper Halo which sells for PHP 1.598 million, and the Hyper Pro which has a sticker price of PHP 1.488 million. This makes the stylish & high-tech Lynk & Co 06 have a higher-than-usual price tag compared to most B-segment crossover SUVs.

Fortunately, the automaker has launched a new entry-level variant that they claim is the most attainable yet. Say hello to the 06 Hyper Core+, the new stepping stone in owning your very first Lynk & Co. Starting with a net cash price of PHP 1.299 million (MSRP at PHP 1.399 million), this new variant still comes with plenty of features & amenities as well as the turbocharged 1.5L engine under the hood.

Like its stablemates, the 06 Hyper Core+ comes with full LED headlights and taillights along with a large panoramic sunroof. The signature Aurora Borealis LED daytime running lights are also featured while 18-inch alloy wheels give the vehicle an extra dose of sportiness.

Hop inside and the Lynk & Co 06 Hyper Core+ welcomes occupants into a high-tech and modern interior. It has a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 6-speaker sound system. Other key features present in the 06 Hyper Core+ are leather semi-bucket seats, contrast stitching on the upholstery and automatic climate control.

Powering the crossover is a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine that generates 181 PS with 290 Nm of torque. It is then paired with a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch gearbox that drives the front wheels.
