Kia adds new GT variants to three EVs

Along with the reveal of the new EV2, Kia has used the 2026 Brussels Motor Show to introduce the latest electric models that are getting the performance-minded GT treatment.

The Korean manufacturer has unveiled the EV3, EV4, and EV5 GT variants in Belgium, promising not just improved straight-line performance, but also a more immersive driving experience with the three new models.

Much like the EV6 and EV9 GT, there are very minimal differences between the standard and GT iterations of the EV3, EV4, and EV5. Apart from the larger wheels, lime green brake calipers, and semi bucket seats inside with the signature lime green stitching, Kia focused more on adding character to the models’ driving characteristics.

All three GT models feature virtual gear shifts and an active sound design, all done to mimic an internal combustion engine’s behavior during acceleration and deceleration, along with the faux drivetrain sounds that come with it. Likewise, special tuning for the electronically controlled suspension is also present on the GT variants, which Kia claims improves cornering stability.

Both the EV3 and EV4 GT models share a 292 PS dual-motor AWD system, which is powered by an 81.4 kWh battery. Kia also claims increased power and torque with the EV5 GT, but did not disclose the exact details.
