Isuzu turns the Traviz into a proper people carrier
We already know the Isuzu Traviz can easily ferry people with its UV body (AKA F&B body). With side-facing seats that can be folded up when transporting cargo, the Traviz can switch between various roles with ease.
But what if customers are interested in a dedicated passenger van of the Isuzu Traviz? Well, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) and body builder Advance Thermofab Manufacturing Corporation came up with a new concept for the Traviz.

After showing us the Traviz Concept Cargo Van at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), IPC revealed an evolution of the concept at the recently-concluded 2025 Truck Fest. It's called the Concept Van but instead of carrying cargo, it has several rows of front-facing seats complete with lap belts for safety.

It has three rows of seats which can accommodate a total of nine passengers in the back. Combined with the driver's seat and the two seats in the front, this Traviz has a total seating capacity of 12 people. The van also comes with an integrated rear aircon system, a bubble roof to accommodate taller passengers, LED lighting, and a tailgate complete with dampers for easier opening and closing.

Apart from having three rows of seats in the back, the interior of the van is largely bare. However, perhaps the body builder (or aftermarket outfitters) can install USB charging ports or other gizmos inside the vehicle at the request of interested customers. With so much real estate inside, it would be a shame to not make use of all available space.
No powertrain specifications were mentioned although we won't be surprised if it gets the same 2.5L 4JA1 BluePower turbo-diesel engine that makes a humble 78 PS at 3900 rpm and 176.5 Nm of torque at 1800 rpm. Power is then sent to a 5-speed manual gearbox that drives the rear wheels.

Since the 12-seater Traviz is only a concept, prices for it are not yet available. But should it become a reality, it could attract customers who are looking for a reliable, durable, and affordable people carrier.
