PGA Cars gets regulatory approval for a new passenger vehicle with a 4.0L engine
It's been nearly a year since Lamborghini debuted the plug-in hybrid Urus SE at Auto China 2024. Serving as the most powerful version of the brand's popular super SUV, the Urus SE makes an impressive 800 PS with 950 Nm of torque, can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and can travel on pure electric power for up to 60 km thanks to a 25.9 kWh battery pack.
Clearly, Lamborghini created supercar performance with an eco-friendly approach in the Urus SE. But when can we expect the electrified raging bull to go to the Philippines? Based on a recent regulatory approval, we might not have to wait that long.

Just recently, PGA Cars was approved a new passenger vehicle that's powered by a 3996cc gasoline engine which translates to 4.0 liters of displacement. In addition, the vehicle has a reference weight of around 2,559 kg which makes it quite a hefty automobile. After doing some research and cross-checking the numbers, it looks like the Lamborghini Urus SE is set for its Philippine debut.
First making its regional debut in Singapore last year, the Urus SE is powered by an electrified 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that's assisted by an electric motor housed within the 8-speed automatic gearbox. The result is 800 PS and 950 Nm of torque which allows the vehicle to go from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. It also has an impressive top speed of 312 km/h.

According to executives during the Urus SE's Singapore launch last year, the electrified super SUV is set to make its way to the Philippine market by Q1 2025. Since we're already in March, perhaps we're only weeks away from the big reveal. With that, there could already be buyers lined up who made early reservations to get their hands on the Lamborghini Urus SE.
