Next-generation hybrid models from Honda to get brand's new 'H' logo
A few days ago, Honda confirmed they are currently developing the next-generation e:HEV system and ADAS. The Japanese automaker also shared that it will apply the next-generation ADAS to a broad range of EV and HEV models that will be powered by the brand's next-generation e:HEV.
But just how many models can we expect from Honda to come with the automaker's new generation e:HEV and ADAS? According to Honda Global CEO Toshihiro Mibe, they will release a total of 13 next-generation HEV models that feature the new e:HEV system and ADAS.

This is part of Honda's strategy to focus more on HEVs, as there's a market slowdown for electric vehicles (EVs). While Honda did not go into detail, perhaps we can expect the all-new Civic, CR-V, and more to be revealed in the coming years, complete with the next-generation e:HEV and ADAS.
Aside from that, Honda also confirmed that all-new HEVs that will be powered by the latest e:HEV system will feature the brand's new 'H' logo. First featured in the 0 Series concepts, the new 'H' logo was initially going to be used for the brand's new EVs. But due to the slowdown in EV demand and to serve as a symbol of the transformation of Honda's automobile business, the automaker also decided to feature the new logo for its next-generation HEVs.

Since Honda is banking more on hybrids, it's not surprising they're looking to launch a total of 13 HEVs by 2027. The only question now is, can we expect some of the non-hybrid nameplates to come with the latest e:HEV powertrain? And can we expect some of them to be offered here in the not-so-distant future?
