2026 Toyota Urban Cruiser EV is now available in 12 dealerships in PH

It took some time, but finally, after being launched in India, Toyota’s latest (and smallest) EV yet has been launched by Toyota Mother Philippines. It’s the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, and it’s essentially the twin of the upcoming Suzuki e Vitara, which is also slated for its Philippine arrival.

The Urban Cruiser EV slots below the much larger bZ4X, but it delivers strong performance despite its compact size. Thanks to a 61 kWh lithium-iron battery pack, Toyota says the Urban Cruiser can do up to 475 km on a full charge. It also features a single electric motor delivering 174 PS and 193 Nm of torque. 

Despite measuring only 4285mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1635mm tall, the Urban Cruiser has a generous 2700mm wheelbase and 180mm of ground clearance. It also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/55 series tires.

All well and good, but where can interested customers actually buy one or charge it without having to deal with long lines? Well, Toyota Motor Philippines has released the initial list of BEV dealers where you can buy (or recharge) the Urban Cruiser.

For now, a total of 12 Toyota dealerships serve as BEV dealers, which include the following:

Of the 12 dealerships, 9 already have their charging stations ready to serve customers, with the remaining 3 scheduled for completion soon.

Those who plan to get one soon will also be pleased to know it includes many standard amenities.

These include automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen media display with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree panoramic view monitor, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, 40:20:40 split rear seats, and a host of intelligent driver aids via the Toyota Safety Sense.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV retails for PHP 2.135 million and includes a 7.4 kW wall panel charger and a portable 3.6 kW charging cable.
