This year's Bangkok International Motor Show will carry the theme of "The Iconic Synchronicity"
Grand Prix International Public Company Limited has announced that they are all set to host the 47th edition of the Bangkok International Motor Show. With this year's theme called “The Iconic Synchronicity,” the Impact Challenger halls in Muang Thong Thani will be home to the latest in automotive technology, innovation, and design.
The annual event underscores Thailand’s automotive industry as a key driver of economic stability, sustainability, and the country’s shift toward a digital and green economy.
Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the Motor Show, said this year’s event aims to strengthen connections among automotive manufacturers, technology partners, and global markets, aligning with Thailand’s transition toward electric vehicles and advanced automotive technologies.
Despite geopolitical uncertainties in the United States, Israel, and Iran, the Thai automotive industry remains committed to enhancing production capabilities and developing both alternative energy vehicles and more efficient internal combustion engines.

This year, 45 companies, including 37 car brands and 8 motorcycle brands, are set to participate with at least 10 new models to be launched, which will include electric and alternative energy vehicles. The show will also welcome new entrants such as Chery, Lepas, Firefly, Forthing, and Tesla in their first appearances in Thailand's major motor show, reflecting strong international confidence in the local market.
Aside from the booths from participating brands, visitors can expect a full range of activities, from the Grand Prix Runbike Championship to the 30th Anniversary of XO Autosport, JDM & Custom Culture showcases, and the “Chery V23 Style Up Challenge” design contest. A dedicated lakeside test-drive area has also been put up to allow attendees to experience firsthand the newest models from a wide range of car brands.
Promotions for this year also include the “Motor Show … Pay” campaign, offering visitors a chance to win gift vouchers worth over THB 1.45 million through car and motorcycle bookings, registration, and survey participation.
The 47th Bangkok International Motor Show will run from March 25 to April 5, 2026, at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1–3, Muang Thong Thani. Press Day is scheduled for March 23, and the official opening ceremony will take place on March 24. Organizers expect the event to deliver a comprehensive experience that showcases automotive innovations, strengthens market confidence, and revitalizes Thailand’s automotive sector.
