God’s Eye ADAS will be available in three levels
BYD is already making a significant impact in the global market with the quality and value they offer in both their hybrids and fully electric vehicles. Now, they plan to take the next step towards making intelligent driving technology available in all their models.
The Chinese automaker has launched “God’s Eye”. No, it’s not a system taken from the latter Fast and Furious movies, but rather an intelligent driving system which will be utilized by all BYD models from the Seagull to the Yangwang U9 supercar. The God’s Eye ADAS will have three levels of advancement through its three core variants.
All BYD-branded cars will receive the most basic system called God’s Eye C, where the suite relies on 12 cameras (3 front-view, 5 panoramic, 4 surround-view) and 17 different radar sensors.

Meanwhile, God’s Eye B adds a LIDAR sensor and poses as a more advanced system for high-end BYD vehicles, as well as those under the Denza and Fang Cheng Bao sub-brand. Lastly, the God’s Eye A serves as the flagship ADAS suite of BYD that has self-driving capabilities. God’s Eye A will be used by models under the Yangwang brand that includes the U9 supercar.
All versions will apparently be connected to the DeepSeek AI tech. According to CEO Wang Chuanfu, the integration of DeepSeek will help improve self-driving tech while providing a more personalized experience for its consumers, as it allows for navigation-based assistance for motorways, and even city streets.
The BYD Chairman said that in a few years, intelligent driving systems will be a major factor when it comes to buying a vehicle. With BYD now equipping ADAS to a less than PHP 900K car like the Seagull EV, let’s see how other carmakers will respond with this move.
