Geometry C is Geely's answer to the BYD Atto 3
Last January, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) showed a product that could spark a renewed interest for the Geely brand in the country. They gave a preview of their upcoming EV crossover, the Geometry C.
With a sleek exterior, a high-tech cabin, and a potentially long all-electric range, the Geometry C is Geely’s challenger to the likes of the BYD Atto 3 and the MG4 Lux. Back then, SGAP had yet to provide a timeline as to when they launch the Geometry C. But now, it looks like they are inching closer to officially introducing their first EV in the PH market.

We were able to spot a Geometry C EV being transported to a dealership somewhere in Quezon City. It’s very much the same unit previewed back in January at Geely North EDSA, so we reckon SGAP is now starting a promotional tour of the Geometry C EV.
Official specifications for the PH-spec version are not yet available for the Geometry C. But in its home market, the Geometry C has a 70 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that drives a single electric motor, producing 200 PS and 310 Nm of torque.

Performance-wise, the Geometry C can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7 seconds. As for its range, Geely claims the Geometry C can reach up to 485 km on a single charge using the CLTC cycle.
Unlike last year, Geely won’t be a participating brand in the upcoming Manila International Auto Show so it’s likely that SGAP will hold a separate launch event for the Geometry C. Hopefully, they do it soon as a lot of attractive EVs are making their debut at MIAS.
