Changan CDO shutters operations, aftersales service ends after Oct 20

One of Changan's dealerships in the country has officially shuttered its doors. This comes after Changan Cagayan De Oro (CDO) posted on its social media page that it has ceased operations as of September 30, 2025.

But that doesn't mean the dealership has stopped aftersales service. In fact, Changan CDO announced that its last call for servicing is on October 20, 2025, which is today. Global Star Motor Corp., which is the current owner & operator of Changan CDO, said that they remain committed to customers' needs until a new dealer or aftersales support is appointed.

“With heartfelt gratitude, we announce the conclusion of our operations in Cagayan De Oro City as of September 30, 2025. Changan continues to serve the Visayas and Mindanao through Changan Cebu on A.S. Fortuna, Mandaue City, and our soon-to-open Changan Davao on Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City,” said the automaker via a statement.

Changan CDO first opened last year when the automaker partnered with Global Star Motor Corp. for the outlet. The location spans 92,505.05 square feet and complemented the other Visayas locations including Tagbilaran, Tacloban, and Cebu.

With the CDO outlet closing, customers who wish to get a brand new Changan will have to go to Davao once the new dealership there officially opens.
