MMDA advises rerouting routes for Roxas Boulevard closure

Last week, during the Manila City Council’s 130th regular session, the council deliberated on Draft Ordinance (DO) 8724 which seeks to close the 2.3-kilometer northbound and southbound sections of Roxas Boulevard from Padre Burgos Avenue to Quirino Avenue to all vehicular traffic between 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM every Sunday.

The purpose of this “Car Free Sunday” is to encourage healthy living through active lifestyle activities in the area for Manila residents and nearby areas.
