SAIC, AC Industrials conclude distribution of Maxus vehicles in the country
Amid an increasingly dynamic automotive landscape, SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (SAIC) and AC Industrials, Ayala’s industrial technology arm, have officially concluded their partnership for the distribution of Maxus vehicles in the country.
Both companies see this transition as a strategic step, allowing each party to realign and focus on their respective core strengths in response to shifting market dynamics.

As this chapter concludes, AC Industrials takes pride in having played a role in Maxus’ growth within the dynamic Philippine automotive industry. This transition reflects our continued focus on shaping the future of mobility, and as the industry evolves, we remain committed to advancing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the Philippine market,” said Dana Uson, Head of Strategy of AC Industrials Mobility Group.
Meanwhile, SAIC expressed its gratitude to AC Industrials for the strong partnership amid a changing mobility landscape.
“We are grateful to AC Industrials for their dedication and collaboration over the past seven years. Their efforts laid a strong foundation for Maxus in the market, and we remain committed to supporting Filipino customers and partners as we continue to expand our global presence,” said Frank Wu, Head of Overseas Business, SAIC Maxus International Limited.

Throughout the transition, Maxus owners can look forward to continued support and service. Customers can conveniently book service appointments via https://maxus.ph/. Customers can also contact 0917-501-7677 or email maxus.service@acmobility.ph.
Maxus was first launched in the country back in June 2019 with a couple of vans, the G10 and the V80, which were available in Comfort, Transport, and Flex variants. They then added the G50 MPV to their lineup and followed it up with two SUV models and a pickup truck, the D60, the D90, and the T60, respectively.

The G50 eventually gave way to the much-improved G50 Plus under MG (which is also a SAIC auto brand), while the T90 pickup is set to enter the Philippine market as the TRQ. On the other hand, the D90 is also set to make a comeback in the Philippines with MG.
