Aston Martin releases DB12 Goldfinger Edition, limited to only 60 examples
In 1964, a spy movie by which all other spy movies aspire to be made its silver screen debut. Starring Sean Connery as MI6 Agent 007 James Bond, Goldfinger was the most ambitious Bond production during its time. The movie presented a lot of firsts and iconic 007 elements where the Bond character really became Bond.
Like the first time Bond orders a martini "shaken but not stirred." From unforgettable elements such as the gold-painted actress, a laser beam, Pussy Galore, Oddjob, a catchy theme song, and one very cool car specially equipped with onboard gadgets and weapons.

This elevated the Aston Martin DB5 to become one of the world’s most recognizable cars and a crucial step in the brand’s illustrious ‘DB’ bloodline. In celebration of 60 years of the association between Aston Martin and the James Bond film franchise, Aston Martin presents the DB12 Goldfinger Edition, crafted by the ultra-luxury marque’s bespoke personalization service, Q by Aston Martin. Only 60 DB12 Goldfinger Editions will be released worldwide, paying tribute to over half of Aston Martin’s illustrious 111-year history.
While the DB5 featured in Goldfinger was equipped with all the gadgets and weapons needed to escape Bond’s adversaries, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition is focused on providing a more indulgent James Bond driving experience, incorporating subtle touches from the Goldfinger film. The DB12 Goldfinger Edition comes in the iconic Silver Birch paint color synonymous with the DB5 in Goldfinger.

The striking 21-inch multi-spoke wheels with a unique silver color and a unique Aston Martin logo in silver with black enamel further enhance the vehicle's sleek look. Crowned with a bright chrome ‘Q’ fender badge, it solidifies that this DB12 has received some truly special touches.
Inside, the leather Sports Plus seats are finished in the classic DB5 fluted style with an intricate Prince of Wales check perforation pattern, in a nod to a classic James Bond suit. This pattern extends to both the door inserts and the headliner, as well as being etched onto a unique treadplate. A polished sill plaque adorns the Goldfinger 60th anniversary logo.

Adding an elevated level of ultra-luxury are 18K gold-plated interior accents, decorating the drive mode rotary dial, as well as the notched gear selector. A subtle nod to Bond aficionados is the ’eight of hearts’ embroidered onto the drivers’ sun visor, which references the playing card seen in the last draw during the famous Miami pool scene in Goldfinger.

True to form, the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition delivers a blend of performance, ultra-luxury, and style, pushing the renowned DB to new heights. It's powered by a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, producing a best-in-class power output of 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque together with an advanced suspension system.

All in all, this limited edition DB12 ensures a thrilling yet refined driving experience, one without the need for gadgets and weapons, much less being chased by adversaries.
