2026 Volvo EX60 revealed with 810 km of range, 400 kW fast charging
Volvo continues to expand its lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) with the launch of its newest zero-emissions model. Following the reveal of the EX30, which is now available in the Philippines, Volvo has officially revealed the all-new 2026 EX60, a midsize all-electric crossover SUV that is set to change the game in terms of range, charging speed, and performance.
“The new, all-electric EX60 changes the game in terms of range, charging, and price and represents a new beginning for Volvo Cars and our customers,” said Håkan Samuelsson, CEO of Volvo Cars. “With this car, we remove all remaining obstacles for going electric. This fantastic new car is also a testament of what we are capable of at Volvo Cars, with an all-new product architecture introducing new key technologies – mega casting, cell-to-body, and core computing.”

Volvo said the EX60 ends the problem of range anxiety with its impressive range, as a single charge can give it up to 810 km based on the WLTP cycle in an AWD setup. This makes the EX60 P12 AWD have the longest range in Volvo's EV lineup. This was made possible thanks to a 117 kWh battery pack that feeds two electric motors and delivers a combined 680 PS and 790 Nm of torque.
Volvo also revealed lesser variants of the EX60, which include the P10 AWD and the P6. The former puts out a combined 510 PS with 710 Nm of torque and is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack, which gives it a total range of up to 660 km. The latter, meanwhile, comes with a single rear electric motor that produces 374 PS with 480 Nm of torque and is paired with an 83 kWh battery that delivers up to 620 km of range.

The EX60 sits on the brand's new SPA3 electric architecture and is powered by HuginCore, Volvo's core system for cars. It comes with the latest cell-to-cell technology, next-generation in-house developed motors, a new battery cell design, and a more lightweight construction. It also supports a 400 kW charging system, which translates to quicker recharges while on the go. In fact, Volvo claims that a 10-minute charge can give the EX60 up to 340 km of range.

Design-wise, the EX60 combines sleek styling and signature Scandinavian aesthetics for the all-electric era. A sloping roofline highlights the EX60's aerodynamic looks while the tapered body sides boost the overall aerodynamic efficiency of the EV. Like the EX30, the EX60 features eye-catching Thor Hammer LED headlights, muscular wheel arches, and a distinctive pair of vertical LED taillights.

Thanks to its long wheelbase (2970mm), the EX60 boasts one of the most spacious cabins for a midsize crossover EV. Since it lacks a traditional powertrain & drivetrain, the EX60 has a flat floor that provides more legroom for the rear passengers, as well as a more generous luggage space in the back. Size-wise, the EX60 measures 4803mm long, 1899mm wide, and 1639mm tall. It also has 182 mm of ground clearance and 450mm of water wading capability.
When it comes to amenities, the Volvo EX60 is available with intelligent features thanks to new state-of-the-art technologies via HuginCore that empower the car to think, process, and act. It's also available with Google's new AI assistant, Gemini, which is deeply integrated into the car and lets you have natural and personalized conversations. The infotainment system also comes with Apple Music pre-installed with Dolby Atmos and a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

The Volvo EX60 is now available for order in Europe, with the US to follow later in the year. That means we can expect other markets like the Philippines to get it by the end of the year or in early 2027.
