Jetour releases teaser image of upcoming G600 PHEV SUV
We already know that Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) plans to launch the G700 i-DM flagship plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV soon. Not only did Jetour Auto International president Mr. Ke Chuandeng confirm it, but the Jetour G700 is now on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) list of recognized PHEVs. With that, we won’t be surprised if the automaker plans to reveal it later this year, perhaps at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
Soon, the G700 might not only be the plug-in hybrid model the automaker will have in its premium lineup. That’s because Jetour has recently released a teaser image of its latest Zongheng series of vehicles, the G600.

Based on the lone teaser image the automaker released, the Zongheng G600 will have a brutish, muscular exterior, similar to the G700. However, it will feature a slightly different front fascia, with unique C-shaped LED daytime running lights. Looking at the rest of the vehicle, it appears the Jetour Zongheng G600 could get a Ford Bronco-like exterior design with its jutting bumpers and boxy rear end.
For now, its exact specifications remain a mystery. However, the Jetour G600 will likely be underpinned by the brand’s Global Architecture for Intelligent All-Terrain (GAIA) platform, which is shared with the G700. That means it will likely get the same 2.0L turbocharged engine that’s assisted by a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, an 800V architecture, and a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).
With Jetour continuing to build frame-based plug-in hybrid SUVs, the Jetour G600 could take on the likes of BYD’s Denza B5 or B8 PHEV SUVs. And with the G700 already confirmed for the Philippines, perhaps the G600 could already be in the pipeline for Jetour Auto Philippines Inc.
