All-new Honda Prelude will have a sticker price just below PHP 3.5M

Well, this comes as a big surprise.

Yesterday, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced it will start accepting pre-orders for the all-new Prelude e:HEV today, February 27, 2026. There will only be one variant on offer, and it will be available in five different colors. More importantly, it will be powered by the brand’s electrified 2.0L engine that comes with the S+ Shift Technology.

Now, we have received information about its price, and boy, were we surprised with the suggested retail price. According to several Honda Cars dealerships that have begun accepting pre-orders, the upcoming Prelude e:HEV will retail for PHP 3.498 million.

This comes as a huge surprise since we were expecting the electrified coupe to retail at around the PHP 2.9 to PHP 3 million range, given that the vehicle is a hybrid and benefits from 0 tarrifs. In Japan, the all-new Prelude starts at JPY 6,179,000 or around PHP 2.284 million when converted. Heck, in the US, the Prelude begins at USD 42,000 or just over PHP 2.42 million.

At its current price point, the Honda Prelude in the Philippines is selling at a very premium price tag. With several thousand Pesos more, it’s coming close to the Civic Type R’s SRP of PHP 3.87 million.

We’ll be curious to know just how many customers will decide to pre-order a unit now that its sticker price is out.
