Upcoming 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab appears on LTO's newly homologated vehicles
Earlier this year, we received information that Inchcape Philippines was given regulatory approval for an upcoming light-duty vehicle. Based on the information provided, the light-duty vehicle will have a gasoline-powered 2993cc engine and a reference weight of 2495kg.
After doing some research, it looks like Inchcape Philippines is preparing to launch the 2025 Ram 1500 pickup truck. The 2993cc engine translates to a displacement of 3.0 liters which means the PH-spec Ram 1500 will likely come with the new Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six.

Fast forward just before the holidays, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has released a memorandum circular that homologates the latest Ram 1500 for the Philippines. Based on the document the LTO recently released, the 2025 Ram 1500 for the Philippine market will be offered in the Rebel Crew Cab variant. It's also listed with a 3.0L engine which means it will have the new six-cylinder under the hood which we'll get to later.
Size-wise, the 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab measures 5916mm, 2085mm wide, 2012mm tall, and has a 3670mm wheelbase. In addition, the full-size pickup truck has 206mm of ground clearance, a curb weight of 2495kg, and will have 18-inch alloy wheels with 275/50 series tires.

Last but not least, the LTO also listed the Ram 1500 Rebel's engine displacement of 2993cc. This further confirms that the new pickup truck will get the new 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six. The exact output figures are not yet available although in other markets, the 3.0L engine is available in two states of tune; 426 PS with 623 Nm of torque for the entry-level version and 548 PS with 706 Nm of torque for the top-of-the-line variant.
With the LTO releasing homologation documents regarding the new Ram 1500 Rebel, it might not be long before the automaker officially launches it in the Philippines.
